Superpulsed 904 Probes

904 nm (infrared) superpulsed GaAs-laser, multiprobe & singleprobe. The super-pulsed 904 nm GaAs (Gallium Arsenide) laser mulitprobe is our flagship product. With peak powers of 20 W per laser diode and an average output power of 240 mW (4 laser diodes of 60 mW each), the superpulsed 904 GaAs multiprobe is a powerful tool for the laser therapist. Because of the high power densities casued by the high peak powers, the penetration profile of the superpulsed laser light behaves non-linearly in tissue. This non-linear behavior significantly increases the penetration depth of the GaAs laser light. It has been suggested that this laser type has the highest working depth of all therapeutic laser types on the market. The 904 nm superpulsed GaAs-laser is also offered as a singleprobe with an average output power of 60 mW.

The Irradia GaAs-laser is unique in that its high average output power is independent of the pulse frequency. Conventional GaAs-lasers give lower average output power with lower frequencies. A satisfactory result of a laser therapy treatment requires that a certain dose be administered. When treating patients with low-frequency conventional GaAs irradiation (and when the therapist wants to give a certain dose), treatment sessions may become very time consuming, and thus costly for the patient, due to the low average output levels. This problem does not arise with the Irradia superpulsed 904 nm GaAs-laser. The constant average output makes it easy to calculate a correct treatment time when a certain dose is to be given.

Additional Laser Probes

650 nm (red light) Single Probe Laser, 35 mW. This 35 mW single probe emitting red light (650 nm) is used for wound healing and various dermatological and superficial issues. The 650 nm single probe, the 532 nm single probe (below) and the superpulsed 904 nm multiprobe (above) is an outstanding and well documented combination for wound healing.

532 nm (green light) Single Probe Laser, 50 mW. The green 532 nm 50 mW single probe is a key component in the Irradia wound healing protocol. The 532 nm green light is highly absorbed in blood, and helps close the wound more efficiently.

808 nm (infrared) GaAlAs-laser, 450 mW, multiprobe & singleprobe. There are several different types of GaAlAs (Gallium Aluminium Arsenide) lasers. The scientific documentation of the GaAlAs lasers is not as good as for the GaAs lasers (above), allthough it is continously growing, particularly for the 800-830 nm range. The Irradia 808 nm GaAlAs multiprobe has a total output power of 1800 mW (4x450 mW), and the singleprobe has an output power of 450 mW. The 808 nm multiprobe and singleprobe can be used both in continous and pulsed mode.

808 nm (infrared) GaAlAs-laser, 200 mW, singleprobe with collimator tip. This version of the 808 nm GaAlAs single probe is designed to deliver very high power density to a very small surface area (needle point).
